Wimbledon has the same champ! again!

This is a piece about teh Wimbledon finals. I know it really doesn’t figure in terms of a gaming site, but I was thinking, a game versus that?

I mean when we loose a game, or die, or whatever happens, we just restart from our last saved point, and carry on, fully aware of what’s heading our way, and probably already knowing how to get over it. I mean, I dont know of any game, at least these days being the kind you cant beat. In fact most games are engineered to be beaten.

Now compare that with the amount of courage it must take from some like Andy Roddick to say, he’s going to come back next year, and play again, and he still wants to win the Wimbledon? Think about it, and the difference in committmente required to say something like that… Its hard to comprehend,  and is one of those things that makes you wonder about the legitimacy of the gaming, when starting again from scratch is something you do everyday, almost routinely…

Some how it makes us lose respect for how hard it can really be, I feel.
