Mario Party-e review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Mario Party-e from Nintendo for the e-Reader attachment for the Game Boy Advance. Mario Party-e was sent to Classic Game Room by a kind viewer from Canada. Unfortunately, we don’t have an e-Reader because no one has a freaking e-Reader. But thankfully, Mario Party-e can be played without one. Kind of. Watch Derek and TJ from Classic Game Room try to figure out this surprisingly complex card game and fail miserably at doing so. Mario, Luigi, Peach and the whole Mushroom Kingdom gang are here! But they’re a lot more fun with controllers. This video review features video footage of Mario Party-e for the e-Reader and commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek and TJ. Classic Game Room – ZELDA SKYWARD SWORD review for Nintendo Wii
The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword review. Classic Game Room reviews THE LEGEND OF ZELDA SKYWARD SWORD for Nintendo Wii from Nintendo. CGR Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword video review features Skyward Sword gameplay recorded from Nintendo Wii showing game play and attacks and movement using the Wii MotionPlus controller and nunchuk. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda (I remember getting the 1st one, loved that gold cartridge!) fans of the series get an amazing adventure that spans the skies and surface below. Beautiful music accompanies Link on his adventure to find Zelda after she falls to the dreaded surface… oh no! Don’t forget to dig The Legend of Zelda soundtrack CD that comes with the game! Art design and feeling of adventure rock in Skyward Sword even though the Wii visuals appear dated and hold back the vibrant quality that could have been. The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword succeeds with traditional Zelda style gameplay reminiscent of Ocarina of Time, stunning flight sequences and storytelling worthy of the Zelda series.

CGRundertow WACKY RACES: CRASH & DASH for Nintendo Wii Video Game Review
Wacky Races: Crash & Dash review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Wacky Races: Crash & Dash from Eidos Interactive and Warner Bros. Games for the Nintendo Wii. Crash & Dash is a simple racer based on the animated series Wacky Races. It was a Hanna Barbara cartoon that only ran for one season, spawning 17 episodes from 1968 to 1969. Unfortunately, Crash & Dash is a kids game, which makes very little sense given the property. As much as we loved seeing the characters and vehicles, the stylish backgrounds and the cut scenes…the game beneath the presentation isn’t as awesome. This video review features video gameplay footage of Wacky Races: Crash & Dash for the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek. CGRundertow WHEEL OF FORTUNE for Nintendo Wii Video Game Review
Wheel of Fortune review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Wheel of Fortune from THQ for the Nintendo Wii. The game is pretty much identical to the show. You and three contestants compete to solve a word puzzle. You keep chipping away at the words until you’re ready to take a guess, vowels cost money, Vanna White refuses to stop being sexy—do you really need an explanation? It’s Wheel of Fortune. The game uses bizarre looking characters by default, like the mutated spawn of an Xbox avatar and Dryopithecus. Fortunately, you can use your personal Mii, which makes the presentation a bit better. Otherwise, the game looks extremely simple…and not in a good way. There are 800 puzzles, and in addition to Mii support, the game also supports the Wii Speak peripheral for voice control. This video review features video gameplay footage of Wheel of Fortune for the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek. CGRundertow XENOBLADE CHRONICLES for Nintendo Wii Video Game Review
Xenoblade Chronicles review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Xenoblade Chronicles for Nintendo Wii. Have sword, will travel… but stopping in Europe first for baguettes or whatnot. Finally in the states, Xenoblade Chronicles combines fantastic story, lush environments, and real-time combat (Reminiscent of a Final Fantasy XII DON’T JUDGE ME) into an engaging RPG that deserves your attention. Yes, you may need to dust off your Wii. But you need to get on this. Right now. CGRundertow RESIDENT EVIL 4: WII EDITION for Nintendo Wii Video Game Review
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition from Capcom for the Nintendo Wii. You can praise this game for a million different things and be correct on all counts. Resident Evil 4 is a modern masterpiece and a real landmark in contemporary game design. What’s really remarkable about this Wii version is how it plays. The same stunning art, masterful use of mood and stellar game design apply, only with controls that actually improve the gameplay experience. The revelation is how shooting a weapon benefits from pointing at the screen. The game plays much better than it ever did on prior controllers. In many ways, the best version of the game. This video review features video gameplay footage of Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition for the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek. CGRundertow MARIO PARTY 9 for Nintendo Wii Video Game Review
Mario Party 9 review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Mario Party 9 from Nd Cube and Nintendo for the Nintendo Wii. Mario Party 9 is a virtual board game in which players compete in minigames to earn stars, and the player with the most stars at the end of the board wins. From that familiar foundation, Mario Party 9 makes some interesting adjustments. Perhaps most importantly, it benefits from the restrained approach developers have learned to take toward motion. That means the waggle based minigames that were so prevalent in Mario Party 8 are replaced with minigames that mostly emphasize the pointer and the sideways, NES style controls. They’re more interesting and more fun than they’ve been in a long time. This video review features video gameplay footage of Mario Party 9 for the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek. CGRundertow SILENT HILL: SHATTERED MEMORIES for Nintendo Wii Video Game Review
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories from Climax Studios and Konami for the Nintendo Wii. Shattered Memories is a 2009 remake of the original Silent Hill. You play as a frantic father who awakens from a car crash to find his daughter is missing. Driven by his understandable mania, he begins exploring a town that offers a visual for the old cliche, “when hell freezes over.” You walk around, you solve puzzles…you run for your life. But the appeal is the sheer immersion of it all and the sense of dread caused by the fact that, unlike other horror games, you’re completely helpless. Not to mention the game’s stunning graphics. This video review features video gameplay footage of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek.
