A Cry in The Dark: The amazing true tale of Lindy Chamberlain, an Australian female implicated of killing her infant, in spite of her claims that the youngster was taken by a dingo (a wild Australian dog). The Peacemaker: A train wreck, with a train loaded with nuclear weapons, in Russia leaves what appears to be a nuclear disaster in its wake. Nuclear expert Dr. Julia Kelly thinks otherwise. She is convinced the explosion was staged, and the nuclear weapons have fallen into dangerous hands. Colonel Devoe agrees, and the two must uncover the conspiracy that has lead to nuclear weapons falling into the wrong hands.

Do The Right Thing: This is a Spike Lee Directed film. On a hot summer day in a Brooklyn neighborhood, things are heating up. With various people from different races and cultures, all struggling with their own, or each other’s problems, things have reached a boiling point. The crescendo of which is a racially motivated outbreak of violence.

Ruby Gentry: Turgid, strolling account of a simple Southerner (Jones) wedding the wealthy Malden to spite Heston, the guy she really loves. Cast includes Jennifer Jones, Charlton Heston, Karl Malden, and Josephine Hutchinson. (82 minutes, 1952)

Rich Girl: Incredibly gentle time filler in reference to “meager little rich gal” Schoelen leaving her life of comfort in her daddy’s Bel-Air mansion and trying to make it on her own, ultimately hooking up with a blue-collar rock singer. Cast includes Jill Schoelen, Don Michael Paul, Sean Kanan, Ron Karabatsos, and Paul Gleason. (96 minutes, 1991)

Marilyn Hotchkiss’ Ballroom Dancing & Charm School: While a current widower assists a dying mishap sufferer it sets in motion a journey to find the poor man’s long lost love at a school reunion. This leads to a ballroom dance school and a dull, hokey, excessively sentimentalized tale. Trade: A thirteen-year-old gal is kidnapped by members of a sex-trafficking ring. This downbeat drama reveals a stunning, debasing circumstance, although it’s maddeningly choppy, one second daring and commanding (particularly with Finnish actress Bachleda) and the next remarkably corny. In The lord We Trust: Ignorant friar Feldman treks to L.A. to raise money for his monastery. This film is a comedy that is tragically unfunny containing Pryor, who plays God.
