Classic Game Room HD reviews HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2 AND 3 RETURN for Nintendo Wii! This Wii game has 2 Sega arcade shooting games on one disc, awesome! Blast zombies and the undead with your Wii controller tucked into plastic firearms and send them flying through the air in pieces. Awesome voice acting, campy writing and fantastic on-rails shooting action make this game a must play for the Nintendo Wii. Play with one or two guns (or just use the Wii controller, you don’t need a “gun” accessory). CGR is playing with the Komodo Buckshot Lock and Load shotgun for Wii, player 2 is using the Wii Zapper. Zombies are blown into red and green chunks and scores are earned, arcade action at its finest! Pick this game up for a very affordable price and enjoy nearly unlimited replay value, arcade modes, original modes and boss modes. This CGR review of House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return for Wii has gameplay from House of the Dead by Sega showing this shooting gun game on the Wii in action. Does not use light guns, but instead uses the Wii sensor bar to work like a light gun. Dope!

PSPscene – Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End – Sony PSP
Shiver my timbers, pieces of eight, walk the plank you scurvy ridden sea dog….. We all love a good pirate story dont we? Well this PSP pirate based adventure is a mixed bag, it offers fairly good graphics, with nice enviroments and decent character animations, something you would expect from a disney titled movie game. The sound and music are capable, they are pretty much what you’d expect from a pirate adventure game. The cockney voices used to voice over for some of the pirates lines are pretty stupid but equally funny. Gameplay is the games weakness, mainly due to lack of variety in the game, theirs only so much hack n slashing you can do before repetitive encounters drive you potty. The game has puzzle elements thrown in occassionally but they are fairly basic and dont take much thought. The controls are a simple affair and wont stretch anyone to much, they are responsive enough to follow the adventure. I’d never class this pirate yarn as a bad game, it’s just lacking that something to keep you hooked and intrested, the graphics help but the gameplay needed more bite, it’s all average adventuring, pirates are supposed to be exciting afterall. It wont shiver your tibers to much, I’d give it 6.7 pieces of eight and not a penny more! lol 6.7/10 Rated.

Tales of Graces (Wii) [テイルズ オブ グレイセス] Third Trailer / PV (Tales of Festival 2009)
This is the third trailer released for the upcoming Tales mothership title for the Wii, Tales of Graces. This trailer was also shown during the Tales of Festival 2009 last June 14. The video shows the different Style Shifts for Asbel and sophie, as well as the use of the Around Step system. The game revolves around 18 year-old Asbel Lhant, son of the feudal lord of the Lhant territory, situated at the border between the kindgoms of Windol and Fendel, and the opposition between the main kindgoms of Windol, Fendel and Strata. Asbel, whose dream is to become a strong knight, must abandon this dream upon his father’s death, and take his father’s place as Lhant’s new feudal lord. The heroine, sophie, is a young girl Asbel meets during a dispute at the border. Though having an innocent air about her, sophie is quite experienced in combat and helps Asbel drive the enemy military away. sophie has lost her memories, though this doesn’t pose much of a problem unless she has to interact with others. Asbel gave her the name “sophie”, which is a type of flower he is quite familiar with and fond of in his memories. The theme for Tales of Graces is “to learn the strength to protect” RPG. Tales of Graces is slated for a Winter 2009-2010 release for the Nintendo Wii in Japan. US localization yet to be announced.

Classic Game Room HD – TRANSFORMERS 2 for Wii review
Classic Game Room HD reviews TRANSFORMERS REVENGE OF THE FALLEN for Nintendo Wii. It’s like the Bumblebee of Transformers video games. It should just transform into a car and drive itself off a cliff. Less than meets the eye kids, less than meets the eye. Buy or rent the AWESOME Transformers Revenge of the Fallen for Xbox 360 or PS3 and avoid this one. In an odd twist of fate (even odder than robots adopting the form of cars and school busses) the Transformers 2 video game has numerous versions… the Xbox 360 and PS3 version, two Nintendo DS versions and this mess on the Nintendo Wii. Sloppy controls, poor graphics and lackluster gameplay make this Transformers game the one to miss. This CGRHD review of Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen for Wii has gameplay footage from Transformers 2 on Wii showing the video game being played. Play Autobot and Decepticon, both (you can’t choose like you can in the 360 version) and play through a variety of mission types where the camera angles add confusion to what could have otherwise been a straight forward punch and shoot brawler.

PSPscene – Ben 10: Protector Of Earth – Sony PSP
pspscene – Ben 10: Protector Of Earth – Sony PSP The first Ben 10 game for PSP, It’s a decent 3D enviroment romp, with hack n bash fighting tactics until you reach an end of level boss. You can switch characters during the game to solve small platform puzzles and alike. The graphics are cartoon styled but are well enough done to make things fairly enjoyable, if not outstanding. Sound is nice, with lots going on and decent voice acting and comments along the adventure. Game controls are pretty good, although things can occassionally get annoying when the cam angles dont show you where your supposed to jump to. A decent cartoon yarn. Ben 10 fans may enjoy it more than most though. 7.0 Rated.
