Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Harry  Potter and the Half Blood Prince is going to be out soon, and you can expect all the usual fanfare, and confusion and fun that all the previous games have brought. The graphics look much better than earlier editions, but I’ve not played any of the stages to tell you about them yet. But expect to be taken from the Gryffindor common room, all the way to the quidditch pitch, via some of the more loved class rooms, and Snapes not so loved dungeons. The game will naturally follow the book pretty rigidly, which kind of isn’t fun, sometimes… but apparently Ron’s Romances liven up the plot a little at some point!

An interesting feature is the ability to move and cast spells while you do it, so fights may be more interesting, I wonder if any of the games will feature dueling again, it was great fun in the second game!

But the coolest feature as far as I’m concerned is the new Wii remote based, actual gesture based cursing capacity, imagine being able to actually cast spells, like a wizard would, of course the screaming of the curse will not be perfect, and while hermoine might have issues with my pronunciation, who cares as long as I pulverize, or set on fire who ever is facing me!!!! I have a feeling that an independent wizard dueling game is called for!
